Absent? Sorry your child is ill. This is what you do: call Dolores Dalin in the Attendance Office (408-997-2122) to report the absence. It sure helps us a lot!!! Please have your child call his Study Buddy or check this web page for assignments. If your child is absent for three days or more, call the Attendance Office. Dolores will contact all the teachers for you. We will send any work to the office for you to pick up.
When absent, a parent/guardian must call the absence hotline the day their student is absent. If the school has not been notified by the 5th day following the absence, the absence will be unexcused. Absence Hotline: 997-2122. Appointments should be made before or after school whenever possible in order not to interrupt the educational process. If an appointment must be scheduled during the school day, please adhere to the process below: - send a note requesting permission for the student to leave specifying time, date, and reason. the note must be presented to the attendance office prior to the 1st period class. - only adults listed on the emergency form may sign a student out of school early. - adults must come in to the attendance office to sign their student in and out. - be prepared to show ID. - verification of appointments may be required.
