Bret Harte offers students an evening of socialization and entertainment while under direct supervision of parent and staff chaperones.

| TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: | Oct 27, 2006 Dec 1, 2006 Feb 9, 2007 April 27, 2007 |
| ACTIVITIES: | A DJ plays music in the cafeteria, the gym is open for basketball and other games…the quad is available for socializing and snacks and drinks are for sale. |
| TICKETS: | are sold the week of the dance and the cost varies from $3-$7; a discount is offered to students who purchased an ASB sticker, and the price of the ticket increases as the week progresses, so buy early for the best price. |
| PERMISSION SLIP: | A parent signed permission slip and school ID are required to purchase a ticket. These forms are available in the office. Also, all overdue library books must be retuned and debts must be cleared. |
| DRESS CODE: | The school dress code is enforced and “freak dancing’ is not permitted. |
| CHAPERONES: | Volunteer Parent Chaperones are needed for each event. You will be asked to arrive 15 minutes early for orientation and assignment of duties. You will need to stay 15-20 minutes afterwards for light clean up. Each parent will be responsible for an assigned area. Most of the chaperoning is done outdoors so please bring appropriate clothing.
