Welcome to Bret Harte Lacrosse! This will be the eighth season for lacrosse at Bret Harte Middle School. The sport of lacrosse is becoming one of the fastest growing sports on the West Coast. Within the last 5 years, youth lacrosse has grown from just a couple of loosely organized teams to nearly 200 throughout the bay area region. Each year, Bret Harte Lacrosse is becoming more and more popular with the student body. This year we plan to fill 2 teams. One of the teams will be a highly competitive team and the other will be designed for introduction and skills development. Each of the teams will be playing against teams of like skill and ability. Junior level lacrosse is an aggressive contact sport and requires athletes to be in good physical condition. All player equipment, except uniforms, is provided by the player. Bret Harte Middle School and the governing league provide the uniforms, fields, goals, and the referee and league fees.
Lacrosse is a spring sport and team registration will start November 1st. Tryouts and practices will start January 23rd. Our season runs until early May. If you have any additional questions about Lacrosse club or the Lacrosse team please email CoachSteve@BretHarte.net.
